Konsep Dasar 

Windows Server 2012 merupakan sistem operasi terbaru yang dirilis oleh Microsoft setelah Windows Server 2008 dan Windows Server 2012. Seperti halnya Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 hanya diproduksi dalam arsitektur 64-bit.

     Windows Server 2012 terdiri dari 4 edisi, yaitu Windows Server 2012 Foundation, Windows Server 2012 Essential, Windows Server 2012 Standard dan Windows Server 2012 Datacenter. Perbedaan antara satu edisi dengan edisi lainnya terletak pada lisensi, fitur dan harga.

Analisis Kebutuhan Hardware

·        Komputer server harus memiliki processor minimal 1.4 GHz 64-bit atau lebih

     ·        Komputer server harus memiliki ukuran RAM minimal 512 MB atau lebih

     ·        Komputer server harus memiliki ruang kosong pada sebesar Hardware 32 GB

     ·        Windows Server 2012 juga support dengan DVD drive

      Untuk menjadi client yang terhubung ke server Windows Server 2012, komputer client juga harus memenuhi persyaratan spesifikasii dalam masalah Hardware. Berikut persyaratan spesifikasi Hardware untuk menjadi client yang terhubung ke server windows server 2012 :
